Our Story
Lindsey & Winchester
In Fall 1972, Bob Tiffin started Tiffin Motor Homes in Red Bay, Alabama. Around that same time, my parents, J.D. and Jeanette Lindsey, were working days at Sunshine Homes and nights making molding strips and sewing purses to make ends meet. Raised in hardworking families, they learned early to spot opportunity and work for it.
One Saturday morning, my dad overheard Bob Tiffin talking about needing curtains for motor homes. Dad spoke up, offered their help, and with a simple handshake, a partnership began. More than 50 years later, we are still proudly working with Tiffin.
What started in our carport grew into a full factory and a family business that now includes bedspreads, pillows, shades, valances, cushions, headboards, custom chair covers, and more. Over the years, we have built just about anything covered in fabric, vinyl, or leather, serving RVs, homes, businesses, churches, and schools.
Lindsey and Winchester is more than a business. It is a legacy built on hard work, faith, quality craftsmanship, and treating people right. We are grateful for over 50 years with the Tiffin family and look forward to many more, continuing to provide personal service, premium materials, and products we stand behind.

No, we come to your RV to do the work. We can come to all campsites, and we work well with other facilities in our area to work around all the schedules.
Call and arrange a time for a design consultation. For this, you come to our facility and choose your fabrics and styles, and then we set up a time to come take down your current headboard.
We build your new one, and then we reinstall it all. The entire process takes about 1 full day; if we have to order your fabric, it might take a week.
When it is installed and you are 100% satisfied!
Most of the time, it is better to choose a fabric from our fabric wall. We have hundreds to choose from and we can order thousands.
No, we prefer you come in to choose your fabric and designs; however, we can do that remotely, if necessary.
